Tree as Diva: I found a sycamore and altered its markings to look like shimmying spangles. The spangles and its sinuous shape made the tree look, well . . . sexy. Juxtaposed with parts of an ad in Times Square, the sycamore became a star on the Great White Way (or, in the case of this banner, the Great Green Way).
